WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
While serving as president of the Ontario Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (OAPO) our board decided it was time to consider professional management of the association. Select board members advertised and interviewed several individuals looking for the right person to fill this niche. The result of this process was the beginning of what turned out to be one of the best things to happen to OAPO in some time. I am speaking of our introduction to and affiliation with David Bennett of David Bennett Consulting.
Our board members were impressed with David’s approach and views on our association’s future plans. David attentively listened to our concerns and challenges then proposed a strategy based on our needs. Following David’s suggestions and comments the OAPO board had to take a step back and reconsider its objectives. David brought his extensive experience and knowledge to bear and opened our eyes to the multitude of considerations and steps involved in our proposed undertaking.
Throughout our discovery process and eventual implementation plan David made himself readily available to answer questions, provide guidance and most importantly construct several documents we as an association required to create a foundation for change within our organization.
David completed his work with us in the fall of this year but we continue rely on his input, suggestions and knowledge for future work in redeveloping our association. I would gladly recommend David Bennett and his unique skill set to any of my colleagues seeking guidance and assistance with their provincial association issues.

I was under a very tight timeline to get an opinion about parliamentary procedure and contacted Mr. Bennett’. He responded promptly and worked quickly to give me his opinions, connecting it well with the Roberts rules that affected it. He was clear in his communication and made himself available again with short notice to answer any questions. I appreciated his courtesy, willingness to help, and made me feel no question was too minor to be considered.
I certainly would have no hesitation on recommending Dave to anyone who needed a PRP!
